Litmus solution is most commonly soaked into paper, the paper is then dried and cut into strips which we then call "litmus paper". It is just like the red cabbage paper we made earlier. Litmus paper is available in two colours: blue and red.
During their Natural Science Class the pupils had to determine how blue and red litmus paper responds individually to the following household acids and bases: vinegar, lemon juice, dishwashing liquid, orange juice, sugar water and Coke.
